This installation features 6-foot-high cedar board panels with cap strips, providing a classic, finished appearance while adding durability and structure. In select areas where additional privacy was needed, four sections were built to 8 feet high, offering extra screening without overpowering the yard.
Cedar is an excellent choice for New England properties thanks to its natural resistance to rot and insects, and over time it will weather gracefully or can be stained to maintain its rich color. The cap strips add a refined detail while helping protect the tops of the panels from moisture.
